hiding safc or vafc for CA BAR reff
Has anyone hidden a safc or a vafc and passed the BAR inspection in California. I know they run a visual and the smog and I am running 11:1 compression so I am gonna need some kind of tuning but if they see the controller theres no way I will pass. Anyone had any expierence with this?

what if you got all crafty and wired it into the glove box? or..... maybe into the center console? under the dash? be creative.... ive never had to hide anything, but ive wanted things out of view.... however, nothing like this... just dumb things and whatnot... but crafty is key!

Well I know the ref checks your ECU and he can tell if there is a fuel controller wired into it if he sees a wire harness coming off the main harness. I'm sure if you got pretty crafty on the wiring and tapped into the wires somewhere that wasn't very visable then you might be able to get away with it. Just be careful cuz the refs know about vafcs and other fuel controllers cuz alot of the people get sent there for those reasons.
