Default hey guys, probably see alot of me in the near future... ;)

hello peoples

to sum it up... im in florida at the moment driving a 99 accord coupe ex v6... i'm coming back to ohio (which is where im from) in a couple weeks for about 2 months doing some premise wiring (money was right).

im looking to sell my accord and get something different while im there. i'd like to build something... im thinking like a 92-95 civic ex coupe... or maybe a 96-00 civic ex coupe (if the price is right).

i wanna go hybrid, and at the moment im looking to learn everything about everything so i can make the right decisions.

after a couple hours of searching... heres some first impressions

b18c1 - price seems kinda high (think i'd rather go b18b/drag3)
b18b - be nice, but, i'd wanna go FI to try to satisfy myself
h22 - looks appealing... needs mounts and costs significantly more than b18b swap and probably a little more than b18c1 swap after its all done... but... (this currently has my attention the most)

so, i just wanted to say "hi!" and mention my goals...

feel free to throw out any type of comments/suggestions/good-webpages/valuable-resources/etc/etc...

ps. all labor will be done by myself, so, cost of labor has no bearing on my decisions

thanks!

awesome.

You'll love having a hybrid.

I used to have a b18b in my hatch, and now an h22.

I REALLY love(d) both setups...

H22 gets pretty expensive very quickly though...

Whatever you decide, there's a lot of guys here with some good words

"all out power" would be nice... however, i'd like to have a reliable ride... i moved away from all my friends/family for perfect weather and unfortunately, now i dont have access to garages and lots of tools...

ive had several cars in the past, and had quite a few different setups... and i was kinda leaning towards just a H22 swap into an EG or EK. it looks pretty easy, the price is pretty reasonable and the power/weight ratio should be fun.

if i was going to go FI, i think i'd go B18B and turbo it. b18b's are way cheaper than b18c1s and they respond much better to boost. i had a 94 gsr that i put a jrsc (yeah, yeah, i know) on and then took it back off (i liked it more NA than FI'd). you cant really run more than 6psi on a b18c1... whereas you can run like 10 on b18b with stock internals.

just my 2 cents
