Here are some picts of Raxles' broken H22 axles
That's what my friend thinks of the axles he got for his H22 Civic coupe.... BTW, these picts were from 4 months ago (I just finally got around to downloading them off of my camera)
As for the axles, you can see where they scheered right off at the inner joint.... both are the same passenger side axle, the bottom one in the picts was the first one to break (turning in a parking lot and hit the throttle), and the top one in the picts is the one that broke 2 weeks later at the track, shifting into 2nd gear. Sure my friend drives his car hard, but I'd assume that some new axles would be stronger than this.
FYI, he's now running a different combo. At the time, Raxles didn't send him the correct combo (both times) and they would bind when he drove. Now he's running what I told him to run (same setup as in my car) and it's been running great for the past 4 months now. Enjoy the picts.

He's now running 86-89 teg axles with Prelude inner joints. I have no idea what combo Raxles sent him, but these do not bind on his car anymore.
BTW, Kragen doesn't do custom axles (like different joints). If you have a 90-93 Accord intermediate shaft, then you can get stock 90-93 Integra axles from them, but they won't make custom 86-89 Integra axles with Prelude inner joints.

Re: Here are some picts of Raxles' broken H22 axles (Newman)
They look like stock refurbished jobbers to me.
Have you ever taken a look at some of the angles and multi-axis loads that CV joints / axles get put under? If he had the wheel at lock and dumped the clutch or thereabouts, of course they're going to break. They're made to withstand straightline drag launches (within reason) or some track usage. If he wanted to show off then maybe he should buy some stage 5 DSS axles

Re: Here are some picts of Raxles' broken H22 axles (H22EK)
so then the final deal is a 90-93 accord intermed. shaft + 90-93 integra axles. will this also apply to a 94-00 integra using HCP mounts?

Re: Here are some picts of Raxles' broken H22 axles (slowgocivic)
I have sent Z10 like 2 emails already and no one has gotten back to me on whether or not you can even use the bars on a 92-95 Civic with a lude engine.. Some say yes, some say no.. I would really like to hear from anyone that has had any pros or cons of such a setup..
I will take more pictures of the car this weekend.

Alright... time to get some stuff straight (dammit Brian, I'm gonna kick your ***).....
You can use EITHER combo and they will both work effectively:
90-93 Accord intermediate shaft with stock 90-93 Integra axles
OR
Prelude intermediate shaft (usually what comes with your swap), and 86-89 Integra axles with the Prelude inner joints.
What H22EK is now running is 90-93 Integra axles on a 90-93 intermediate shaft. He ran on the 86-89 Integra axles for awhile but wanted to change it up.... I now have them for spares incase mine ever go. FYI, I'm still running the 86-89 teg axles with a 93 Prelude intermediate shaft. The Raxle axles in the pictures above were some fawked up combo that Raxles came up with and sold to my friend... neither one worked and obviously you can see the aftermath.
We've proven it in our cars that the 2 combos above work perfectly on a H22 Civic (whether it be EG or EK) and that it works on the HCP kit (which is what we're running) and will probably also work on the HASport kit... Place Racing kit is a different story. Hope this clears up a few things.
As for the Z10 radius rods, the front bar will work but you won't need it if you run the HCP front crossbar with the HCP kit (no other kit has this available for it) and it also acts as a front crossmember bar and helps stabilize the motor. If you didn't run it, and wanted to run the Z10 bar, it'll fit but the driver's side radius rod will not fit because the oil pan will be in the way... there's your clearance problem.

Re: Here are some picts of Raxles' broken H22 axles (Newman)
Hey Jason kidd are you doing the swap or is a shop doing it. I want to go with a lude in my hatch for next summer, but I don't know nobody that knows how to do this swap. I only live 30 minutes from the city. So if you know anybody that can do this swap complete I would appreciate it very much. I just want to get an estimate of how much is going to run me.

Re: Here are some picts of Raxles' broken H22 axles (Nebula)
I did it myself with the help of a friend of mine.. Its fairly simple to do once you get all the parts together and all the information is straight.. If you want to go the legal shop way though you can go to http://www.rpmnyc.com and contact Tommy. Tell him Jason with the Type S sent you. They do good work..
Newman I know the race bar is available for the EK's, but what about the EG's..??
