Default Help with swapping a b16a si-r 2 into 1992 hb

I have a 1992 Honda Civic HB VX and I wanna put a B16A 92-00 (SiR-II) into the car. I am told it directly bolts in. Do I need to change anything or does everything work with the car? For example, motor mounts and ecu. Also, my price range is $3,000. I have a motor that I got for $2,500 shipped to my house. My friends are installing it so I don't have to worry about labor. Is there anything that you recommend that I change when I get it. I was told redline oil 5w-30, tranny fluid, and new belts. Thanks

you should replace the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, pcv valve, distributor cap and rotor, and spark plugs. wiring you will need to add a wire for the knock sensor unless you're running a chipped P28 ecu. you shouldn't need to add any wires for vtec because if i remember correctly all 92's are pre-wired for vtec. Other than that you should be good to go. Everything should bolt right up I'm about to swap mine next weekend. IM me if you have any more questions. Good luck.

You'll need to transfer the stock VX engine harness onto to B16 motor which will require you to lengthen a few wires. You'll also need to wire up the knock sensor and convert to a 4 wire O2 sensor. Since the car is already wired for VTEC you will not need to wire anything there. It should be a straight forward swap without much hassles.
