help with stupid GSR IAB's, errrrrr
ok 93 civic EX
97 GSR motor
obd1 p72
i think its a obd2 gsr harness, has 4 plugs on passanger side
NO cels,
ok i took the pin out of a20 to use on a17, ran the wire direct to the IAB plug, then took the other IAB wire and ran it to one of the injector wires(yellow/black).
when you turn the key over the IAB goes all the way up(closed?) then when you start , it goes right back down and stays even reving over 5700.
this is starting to bug me, can someone shed some light

IAB...When I hooked up my GSR motor I just reused the DX harness and the plug I used was the one on the DX intake manifold that went to the EVAP solenoid(I think) which is that little oval black canister on the top corner of the intake manifold...After switching A20 to A17...You dont need to run anything from the ecu to the sensor because it is built in the civic harness already...Hope that made sense...

Re: (jaybee)
well im using gsr harness.
that and i just hooked it up direct with another plug, one going straight to the ecu, the other going to a 12v yellow/black injector wire, and still no go. like i said it shuts when you turn the key over but the opens when you start the car
