Hey guys my car will not start, however I am getting spark and fuel- well at least I have fuel pressure. The thing is about a month ago my car was robbed and the theives decided it was easier to cut my AEM ems out than to disconnect it.I don't know if they disconnected the battery or the ECM before hacking at the harness. Any way insurance totalled the car so I bought a 92 DX(has the map sensor on the firewall) I just finished installing the swap and tried cranking it which it did but would not start, I can hear it popping like it wants to start but will not. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

By the way I am using a OBD-1 P72 chipped ecu and the motor definitly ran the night of the robbery.

hmmm check your timing. the only way you can have fuel and spark and the motor not turn on is when your timing is just off, since its not at the right compression level to initiate the sequence. check your dist that the teeth werent inserted wrong and just make sure your cam gears line up with your crank pully, other than that check your MAP sensor, when i had my ems my 3bar took a crap and the car would not start for nothing other than those same popping noises. its always something thats right under your nose

Im willing to bet you have the plug wires plugged into the wrong spot on the dizzy..

And you probably have a plug wire that doesnt want to stay in the dizzy which will cost you a race sometime, probably to a cavalier or something..
