Default Help needed from Ek Evo h2b guys!

I'm having a few problems, my engine isn't lining up and sits bent. I'm wondering if the mounting points between uk ek's and u.s ek's are different, or if the rear L bracket from an u.s Si needs to be used as mine is shorter.

ive done one of these swaps... what do u mean it sits bent? the motor is supposed to be tilted forward more ... and btw it was bitch to make this fit... we used a tranny bracket from a 2000 civic si coupe...usdm, so yeh, u might be right... is your car right side drive? take some pics of the mounting points...

yh dude, my cars rhd. Have you done a swap into an ek? I'm fine with it tilting forward in all, but the 2 side mounts, once fitted, the tranny bracket won't match. Basically all three can't be put together.

haha... i know this problem... yes ive done it into an ek. it seemed like that was the case for me as well...

heres what worked for me....

get the side mounts in and then rock the motor forward and while its tilted forward, slide the tranny mount in under the back of the bracket... after its slid in, ull have to use screwdrivers or something of that sort to get the holes to line up.... should be cake after that. i think after i got the tranny mount under the bracket and lined up i may have loosen the tranny mount a bit to get it over a little. then i retightened everything. u might not have to loosen the tranny side mount..... i dont rememeber that part.

i think i remeber .. u get the 2 sides mounts in, rock the motor forward, slide the rear tranny mount in, then loosed the tranny side mount then use screwdrivers and such to line the rear tranny mount up, tighten it then tighten the tranny side mount.

i remeber thinking the same thing...getting pissed thinking it wouldnt work. but yeh a usdm 2000 civic si t bracket was used.
