Help JDM Motor Troubleshooting.
OK, here is the problem.
I swapped a b16a sir2 into my 97 ex, i have an OBD2a P2T ecu (rare). everything is plug and play. I did a pretty clean swap, i have no CEL's and no check engine light. I sanded down all of the spots that the engine needed to be grounded to and cleaned them as well.
Problem:
At first the motor just turned over and over and then kinda rumbles as if it were going to start and dies. I went to Autozone and got some starter fluid and it started up (for the first time) with a horrible idle. I let it run for about 5-10 mins the idle only got a little better. thin white smoke was coming up. My exhaust downpipe isnt connected to cat converter yet but the 2nd o2 sensor is plugged in. so i assume the smoke was coming from the exhaust(carbon monoxide). There are no leaks under the car either. It idles at around 600-800 rpm. The idle is just really rough and boggy when i give it gas its still boggy. after i realease the pedal the idle drops and then #1 dies or #2 slowly reaches a steady idle. Its just really boggy.
Since the second O2 is inside of the unconnected cat, would this cause it too idle that bad?
I also used an old oil filter than had like 300 miles on it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Replace the B16 injectors with your original EX injectors. They're the same size. What happens a lot of times with JDM engines is that the salty air and just from sitting for a long period of time, the injectors get clogged up.
Send the injectors out to RC.

OK So i replaced the injectors with my ex ones, it still runs like crap but just a tad bit better.....
Anyone else have suggestions. I think after i changed the fuel rail my fuel pump was making a wierd noise during the fuel priming.
