propane torch, razor blade, fingernail..(if you haven't cut them in a while). It only took me about 2 minutes with the torch(it's actually mapp gas, but it's only a little hotter) and a razor blade, to get all the gasket off a turbo mani from an MR2 turbo, and that shit was on there, that turbo glows bright red...
