HELP HELP "High Idle"
Hey guys. Ok I need some serious help with my hybrid. I have a 94 Civic with a 94 GSR. Now the problem is when I start my car it idles at 3000 rpm's, then when it warms up it goes down to 1500 and races back and forth between 2000 and 1500 rpm's. I ran a trobuleshoot and it tells me to check the TB, IAC, etc. I ran all the trobleshootings for a rough idle and no progress. Now I replaced the IAC valve with a new one and the problem still exist. When I out my finger on the TB port hole the car idles down to normal but when I let go it races back up to 2000 and back down to 1500 rpm's. Is there a rubber gasket that goes in the TB port hole that I'm missing. I also ran a self check on my ECU and it sends no codes back. The check eng. light just stay's on. Does this sound like my TB is bad or do I need a new ECU. Does anyone have an answer for my problem?

have you checked the obvious...like how tight is your throttle cable....and have you tried adjusting the idle screw??
