Default Help!!! Del Sol H22a shifter cables too short

I am about to pull my hair out messing with this swap for a guy, everything is DONE except for the shift cables. I have tried just about everything and done everything exact to a T based on other H series swaps. My problem is they are about 6 to 8 inches short. The ones we have are prelude cables and we even went and got some 94 accord cables and they were the exact same thing. I am running the cables through the floor and over the rear cross member on the driver side and we are coming up way short and I have NO idea why. Please someone help me with this before I lose my sanity. Are there any other alternatives on longer cables or routing? Please Help.

I would post in the '92-00 Civic / Del Sol section too.. it's a pretty unique question and deserves attention.

If you are going through your floor they have to be routed in-between the crossmember and floor. OR go through your firewall...

I'll try to find a pic...

I'm pretty sure they have to through the firewall, underneath your deck and under the plastic centre console. Not below, been awhile and that car was writen off...hopefully I know what I'm rambling about...

Werd..
I had this exact same problem. I put them through the firewall instead of the floor.
