Default Help 99 gsr into a 93 cx

Just tell me if I am missing anything.

I use a p28 with a chipped gsr program.
Re-pin ecu for vtec.
Use Skunk 2 Manifold to get rid of secondary butterfly.
Use a d16z6 wire harness, but cut the plug towards the alt. off and splice in the obd2 one. Color match? Can I use a the z6 alt?
Use the injectors from the z6. And fuel rail??
Cut the plug off the dizzy and splice in the plugs from the z6.
Use the gsr mounts and gsr shift linkage. What if I don't have the gsr rear mount?
Use stock throttle cable?

That should be it correct?
Thanks for all help.

Oh one other question, on my z6 harness the o2 wire's were cut. So I reconnected a plug, the only thing I am worried about is one of the wires is a heated o2 circuit. I stripped back the outer wire farther and crimped those then stripped back the inner wire and crimped that seperately. Will it be okay?

Did the motor come with the engine harness? If it did why dont you just use that since you're running a P28 ECU. If you dont have the rear mount I highly suggest you get one, because that's the most important one, unless you want your motor to rock back and forth.

I don't think that the skunk2 manifold is a must you can use the integra fuel rail and injectors, the dist. wires will plug and play except for the tach., you can use your throttle cable I think. basically what you need to do it take your engine out put the GSR in and plug everything in and what doesn't work fix, you will learn a lot and won't have to come on honda-tech to ask questions that have been answered thousands of times before. Alternator from the d series won't work. and I don't understand your second more confusing question.

Use the gsr harness that came with the motor and are you taliking about the rear mount itself or the bracket if you dont have a bracket get a rear bracket they are cheap.

I have done many swaps, I just haven't done a obdII swap into a obdI car. Every tech and shop I have talked to said DO NOT USE THE GSR WIRE HARNESS and to use a d16z6 harness. I have the rear t-bracket, so I will buy a rear mount. I was just wondering if I could use the stock d-series one.
I already bought the skunk2 manifold, the dizzy will not "plug and play" and the alt. will not "plug and play". Plus it is easier to tune a obdI car, why would I want to try and keep it obdII.

Doesn't anybody have some knowledgable help without giving me hell?

I searched for a while but couldn't find any threads about putting a obd2 gsr in a obd1 cx. So at the very least post a link.

Runs great. Used the d16z6 harness. Gsr dizzy, gsr alt., and programed p28 ecu.
