Header question...B18C GSR into EG, type r, ls?
Which header will fit a GSR motor in a 5th gen civic? My 4-1 B16A header is way off and I know none of the b16a headers will fit. Obviously a GSR header will fit, but I was wondering if maybe an LS or Type R header will save me from having to extend the cat and get an O2 bung welded in. Anyone using either on their swap?

It doesn't matter which header you run, you're still going to need to extend the cat. Headers might differentiate in length a little, but not what you need. Any time you swap in a motor this is one consideration you must think about. If companies were smart they'd make extended headers to fit swapped cars. Hey wait, that's a great idea. Copywrite on that!!!

I would go with either an LS or ITR header because it's got the oxygen sensor port alread plumbed into it... Laterz

what sort of 5th gen civic is it? if its a hatch (eg) then here you go:
1) a type r header and cat will bolt straight up to the hatch exhaust-
2)gsr cat header/cat will be too short and will need an extension.
3)I believe (but am not absolutely 100% certain) thay a type r header and ls cat will work as well
good luck
