header clearance in h22 eg
im planning on swapping a h22 into my 92 cx , my question is how low does the header sit below the car? just asking because im a firm believer in " if you cant drag it your a ******" and like my car low. and i dont wanna beat the header to crap and have to replace it every few months or so.
also has ne one bought a complete wire harness from hasport? does it basically make the wiring a "plug and play" mod or not. cuz the bolting the motor in and cutting for the shifter cable i feel comfortable doing , just not really big on wiring.
or if anyone can help me / answer my q's id appreciate it for eva.
oh f%%% dodge trucks. mainly big green ones with ghost flames.

Hasport does make the harness pretty much a plug and play job. Ive never used it on a h swap but used it on a b series in a ef hatch. All i had to do was pin in a couple wires simple. But turbo gixxer on here made my harness for my h swap and the quality was great i suggest you shot him a pm and see what he says

Wow, that is almost a silly height! What size you use?
I'm using 22x8x13, car is lowered 1.3", and it's nowhere close to hitting the ground.

I'm also running a 22x8x13 , and by the looks of the pic i'm close to the ground as well. My imagine engineer header hangs about a inch lower than my oil pan. Even when I lift my car bigfoot style , I still manage to scrap on the uneven parts of the track. I wish I wouldve went with a 15" rim or maybe a 24" tire. I'm almost done collecting parts for my turbo setup so I might just upgrade the tires anyways.

Re: header clearance in h22 eg (7926)
I'm not too low. I've hit my pan a few times though. I'm on my 2nd one but the mine came with was kinda beat up in had a couple little holes. Around here I can't be any lower, sometime there isn't even road so ... the roads just suck.
That **** is low with the slicks, I've never had mine on my 22x8x13 slicks yet. I might need to see how well its going to work. 1.75"-2" drop in the front so I don't think it'll be bad.
