http://www.JDMshit.com/h22a-clearance HCP mounts in both an EG and EK Civic, to give you an idea how the motor sits.

As for which is "better," man..... people can go on for days why they like one over the other. Do a search and you'll find tons of posts already on the subject. FYI, HCP uses Energy Suspension polyurethane (custom sizes made specifically for HCP's kits at Energy Suspension's R&D area).

hey Newman. i was checking out your sig. Which mounts are u using?? Did u have any problems with them or break any axles???

Also what year motor are u using. Is it a jdm or usdm motor???
That is a really good time with only a 100shot what else do u have done to the motor..

I know i guy that has a fully built gsr hatch with a 175shot direct port and his best e/t is 11.7 with slicks.

I only use (and sell) HCP motor mounts.... been using them in all of my cars for 4 years now. Zero problems with axles. My friend snapped an axle on his H22 EK coupe using the HCP mounts, but that's because 1) Raxles gave him the wrong combo so they were binding to begin with and 2) He was squeezing out of the hole and snapped it when shifting into 2nd gear. Otherwise, I know other people who are running their H22 hatchbacks at the track with the HCP mounts and haven't had any problems to date.

I had a JDM motor... bone stock with huge Hotshot 4-1 race header, Spoon P13 ECU, and 22x7x13 slicks on Bogarts to hit those times (obviously driver skill comes into play... my first run was a mid 13 on slicks w/out NOS, and eventually got the car under control and ran some quick times). FYI, driving a NOS'd H22 hatch and a turbo B20 hatch on slicks out of the hole takes 2 totally different driving styles to get it down right, and hooking it up the best.

So do you squeeze it out the hole or wait to get grip then squeeze. I'm going to run a 75 shot in my H22 and am trying to decide which to do.

HCP mounts own as well and sell at a damn good price thru Newman

I just personally prefer HASport's.

That is a really nice header. Price isn't that bad either.
