you are gonna have to run a slimmer fan for this swap as with all h22 swaps into civics, also with your gen, i think you have to wire the fan to flow the other way, but don't qoute me on it. You should IM a guy named Prospeed, he sells these kits and can tell you what's up.

that's what i'm seeing if i can do. i knew i needed to get a slim fan for the radiator, and i'm wondering if i can just run a slim fan for the a/c....putting the fan behind the a/c condensor wouldn't be to good for the compressor..as the can is meant to blow air directly onto the compressor. I IMed brian....waiting for his answer

how much is that bracket anyways? I was thinking of just machining my own.. do you know where it relocates the compressor? does it just put it in line with the alternator belt?

it's $175 and it has it's own belt that comes with it...i don't know what pulley set it runs off of though...

I sell them for $145 shipped (cheaper if you buy it with a mount kit ) and you use a pusher fan on an EG, or a slim AC condensor fan on the EK (in the normal location). The AC compressor that you use is any 92-00 Civic AC compressor (not 99+ Si) and you use the 90-91 Accord AC/alternator belt..... I have them in stock. It's working out good in a 96 hatch that we pulled the motor out on.

As for PS, there's no way it'll work. The pulley sits behind the frame rail and will not clear.

he's saying that power steering won't work. you could certainly machine your own a/c bracket if you wanna go through the trouble...i was going to until i heard about people already getting ready to sell them

I still don't understand why people say the powersteering won't work... I left it on the motor dropped it in everything fit, i trimmed the back of the headlight housing slightly to give some room for the hose off the bottom of the PS pump... the belt is close but it has about 1/8" clearence on the frame rail. I got a prelude fitting spliced onto the end of my civic PS line and bam away i went. I'm getting tired of hearing people everywhere say it doesn't fit.

do you have PS AND A/C? that's fawking awesome if you do. i've always heard, and well, from the pictures i've seen, it's like there's room for one or the other..but not both. and i personally would rather have a/c over PS as PS SUCKS a nut. the steering wheel feels like play-do with it

I have AC but I used the prelude compressor with a CRX condensor inside the bumper, and a slim fan (I forgot the brand) customs lines and fittings. Work like a charm. As far as power steering, Who needs that anyway work those arm muscle.
