having a problem with my h22a swapped civic PLEASE HELP
What's up guys well I just got done with putting a h22a swap in my 1997 Honda civic everything is hooked up and where there supposed To be well when I put the key in I get no power whatsoever no dash lights no headlights no beeping motor wont crank getting no power whatsoever tail lights work but that's it put a new battery and all new fuses but When I first put the key in to start it the ignition fuse popped but I replaced it and it popped again I'm completely stumped to what it could be can anybody please help meThanks

I mean, that's what it has to be. There are just too many wires in there to tell you exactly which one it is. Are you working with a modified OEM harness, or an aftermarket harness? If it's modified OEM, did you do the modification yourself, or did someone else?

It's a modified oem harness and I bought it already done

Unless you know for a fact that the harness wasn't screwed up (as in you physically saw and heard it running in another H swapped car), it would probably be worth your while to just get a new one that hasn't been molested, and modify it yourself.

You have a very big short. I have no idea why some one would assume its a ground situation.
Do you have a multimeter?
Look over your positive battery cables. (to the starter, fuse box and alternator.)

Yes I have a multimeter I'm thinking it's something to do with the chassis harness that's running to the fuse box I wasgoing to go through them all tomorrowI'm hoping it's something simple cuz I don't really want to pull out the dash To change harness

Check your main power cables like i mentioned earlier. If it was a small 18-20 gauge wire those wires would be melted and you wouldve found the short by now

UDate on my build we got power to everything motor cranking but now there no spark from the distributor it's got voltage to the ICM any suggestions

I need some help please ...putting an h22a in a 97 civic...can't get spark...with a volt meter. There is .4 volts at the ignitor and module and .4 coming out of dizzy ignitor...but no spark can anyone help me please
