Default Has Anyone Used H22 AVID Mounts??

Does anyone have experience with their h22 mounts? Ive used hcp, hasport, and innovative mounts. The only problem is HCP doesnt make their mounts anymore and the others require you to completely remove the frame rail mount. I dont want to remove it so im going to give avid a try untill i get my h2b setup complete. And yes i searched didnt find what i was looking for.

i have a set and all you have to do is cut about 3/4" off tranny side.but w/the h2b kit you won't have to cut anything.

I guess i will...If you read my post and read everything you posted. Not once do you comment about the quality of avid mounts.

look man...you did not ask about quailty so lets not go there.you ask if anyone had any exp. with avid mounts and i said i did.you did not say anything anywhere about how hard is the rubber or how do they make the motor sit and so on,so that is why you got the answers i posted.

as far as quailty....they are REALLY GOOD MOUNTS and the RUBBER VERY VERY GOOD QUAILTY.

Yes, experience. Their likes or dislikes about them which would inturn tell me about the quality of the mounts. But thank you for the answer.

I know I work for Avid, but we would appreciate respect from manufactures as we have the same for them. Please get your facts straight before you let the public know. All Avid products are manufactured in house and even raw materials are only sourced from the U.S.A. and Canada. We do not use anything from overseas and interms of the other companies I do not have any knowledge on them.

Why don't you send me your address and I'll send you a catalog. Our catalog has a viewing of our CNC facility. Or if you'd like I could give you a tour. Let me know.

I live in a house, and work with all SFWD drag racers. we all use avid mounts with no complaints. Before you go bashing a company from "things you have heard," you should try and do a little more research on their new products.

Avid Racing gets a from me

The few kits I know for the EG and DC H22 that fit decent are HCP and Hasport...never seen pictures of avid's...so if someone has an avid h22 post up your pix and help out Lude SH...

i had the avid ek b-series replacement mounts.. .first off they sent an h22 driver side mount and backet.. which obviously didnt work and looked like crap. so after a month they finally called back and im not sure if they every sent the right stuff or not, so i put the rear mount and tranny mount in the car b/c my stock ones were broken. after 2 weeks (i had a STOCK gsr motor in the car btw) the tranny mount was shot all to hell, fubar'd one might say. the billet cracked the insert was all busted out, etc. i gave em back to the sales guy at my shop and im not sure if he was ever able to get it straight.

and if you look at the billet.. the quality isnt that great, either the tooling in the cnc was dull or htey were moving too fast w/it. hasport is about 10X better. not to mention the fit.... avids fit is so crappy they have to make the bolt holes HUGE so you can get the junk bolted up... even then they are a pain in the *** to work with.

its not even the fact that the mess sucks, but they wouldnt do anything to fix it. even after i pm'd the guy here we still couldnt get anything done.

Hey, JDogg your right we at one point had issues with the EKB-series mount kits. But that was sometime ago. We have gone along way since then. I hate it that we've left a foul taste in your mouth and its unfourntunate that it happen. Once we had the issues, we then re-designed the entire mount kit. The new EKB-series kit works great and our quality is not compramized. On another note, our warranty is LIFETIME on all Avid engine mount kits. So if you have any issues please call DIRECT to the manufacture.

Once again JDogg and I'm speaking on a personal note, that it really sucks that we've left this foul taste in your mouth. Do me a favour if you could contact me. By PM or our toll free at 1-866-507-2843. Because our new stuff is awesome.
