Has anyone put a MPFI in a 1989 Civic non MPFI?
1989 CRX Si engine into a 1989 Civic (DX?)
If anyone has done this swap,
Actually the wiring conversion, please contact me...
I am VERY VAGUE about what I need to do...
I have the engine, I have the Si harness, and the ECU... Do I just plug it up, and go???
Can't be that simple...
My Civic is a 1989 non Si model... (DPFI)
Will someone please help? I can do all the B18A1 into the Civic CRX Si, but this one is new to me... I also feel like I will need to know where to locate the pin config for my 2 cars.
thanks.

Kenji's article on the hybrid site would be the best bet.
I've done this many times and is faily simple. Just time consuming.

Unfortunately the MPFI engine harness is not compatible with the DPFI chassis harness. But you will be able to use the injector clips, resistor box if it's there and the distributor plugs to help convert your stock engine harness to MPFI. Check out the article that poison posted also.

Very true. You will need to adapt the DPFI harness which takes some time. But is well worth it
