Re: (BLUE EH3)
the 90-93 teg halfshaft has a female inlet on the outboard part of it. it has one male end and one female end. The axles are almost identical becasue all four ends (passenger and driver) are male ends.
on a 94+ halfshaft both ends of it are male and the drivers side axle has one female end and one male end.
the axle setups can be interchanged without a problem at all, so if that is what you are worried about.......don't get worried, it all works the same
so in total the only difference between the generations is the drivers side inboard coupler.
oh and if you do decide to use a different generation halfshaft setup on your car.....BE SURE TO INSTALL TEH PROPER DIFFERENTIAL SEAL SO YOUR TRANNY DOES NOT DRAIN EMPTY!!!!
the seal is nothing but a little black ring that is pushed into the side of the transmission housing at the same spot where the halfshaft inserts into the differential
