Default H2b / f2b hybrid stroker motor dyno results

I posted this in the all motor section but figured I would post here as well.
The build so far:

F20b block .080 overbore:
-f23a forged h beam rods
-k24 pistons (weisco 87.00 mm)
-f23a crank
-kaizenspeed bs delete and manual tensioner

H22a Jdm Head:
-skunk2 pro2's and complete valvetrain
-trutime cam gears
-Highend motorsports tri y header (the same as logic)
-Skunk2 Pro2 intake manifold

-Full 3" R Crew Catback exhaust
and the evolution h2b kit

The transmission is a 99si s4 transmission using a 4.266 final drive with the shorter 2nd 3rd and 4th gears, but 5th is an LS 5th so its really long.
Something is killing the power at 7600+ and I think its the skunk2 IM and maybe the header.

Also, it was tuned on 93 octane pump gas and 450cc injectors.

Wow nice build. I definitely missed my h2b em1. They're known to be the k-killer for a reason. Nice dyno number.

that baby intake is a big factor
try 3.5in with stack and longer length

Skunk 2 intake manifolds do great on h22 na builds!!!!!!!!

As stated above that intake looks to belong to a d16y8 lol!!!!!!

Try a 4 inch short ram on a Velocity stack.

What kinda spark plugs are you using?

LOL. I guess that intake looks like a d16 intake that you would see a ricer using. But it is actually 3" the same as the throttle body. I spoke to skunk2 and he said a k series intake manifold would perform much better than the Skunk2 pro series intake manifold I am using currently. I have not decided what I am doing next.

Thats awesome that you can bore a F20b to 87 mm without sleeving. If I would of known that I'd done it years ago.

The header bottoms out before the oil pan actually. Its really way too low.

Awesome nice to know that im going to br able to use my stock harness thank you
is there anything that you had to change or was everything plug and play (well for me would it be plug and play i have a 99 ex auto) i kniw i have to change the 3 pin to the 2 pin for the idle control valve or something i think and rewire the auto tranny plug for manual and do that ecu trick i think to where im able to start the car when in 'park' or something i dunno ive seen some regular auto to manual swaps and i think i have to do the same thing for the f20 but not sure

If you have an auto car, you should really get a manual car first. Auto to manual is a lot more work.

h/f series really don't make much power after 7k do they? from what I know, they really don't a whole lot. But then again, what do i know, lol

You might be able to close the hood with a k series intake manifold, and some hood mods....

This still pulls up to about 8,000 but its possible to make power a little higher still. Some are pulling up to 10,000.

I cant sell it since its in my moms name and she doesnt want to sell it but she says i can work on it and all that stuff.
i know auto to manual is a lot of work but once the hardware is there i know the wiring will be hopefully simple but im just unsure of thr connections its the only thing im really worried about other than the moving of the alternator and having p/s a/c
sorry for thread jacking not many people respond so nicely in my threads lol very nice ride once again

I have never actually did the conversion, but once I bought a car that was auto to manual converted without knowing it. I was like what is this electric tape doing covering the [PRND (D3) (D)] section of the gauge cluster.... Then figured out it was a conversion. The other thing that you have to realize if you are going from an auto D series to a manual H2b is that every part of the drivetrain is different. You might as well buy a wrecked integra to take the tranny, axles, shift linkages and possibly the mounts from, then the clutch pedal and cylinder for that.

After that you would have a b series swap ready for the H2b kit. Just remember the h2b kit is intended for a car that is already running a b series drive train setup.

I know what i need fornmy drivetrain from what i read i can use Si shift linkage Si or gsr axles with Si tranny mount and a manual clutch cylinder and all that stuff and for the power steering ill probably use an elrctric ps pump thag i saw from another thread it looked really interesting and neat and would be perfect since theres not a whole lot of room when working with the f20b's in a civic ac im not so sure still gotta look more into that since i dont want to bang my frame in anyways thanks for the help man

I have access to an f20b shortock. Might have to try this setup. If you don't mind me asking, what's the cc of those pistons? How high is your compression?

I'm not sure what the exact compression is but according the the calculator is around 12.0 to 1. The piston is a weisco 12.5 k24 piston at 87.00 mm, not sure on the actual cc though.

Sorry, but I've never seen dyno h-series, the curve to keep up to 10000rpm, even h22 crankshaft!
In my opinion, you have a great dyno, for 97mm crankshaft, if possible to carry out comprehensive work on the inlet, including channels cylinder head, the party continued to 8300rpm! Nice work!: Thumbup:
