Default H2b EM1 Ready to be swap in but massive help needed!!

Hey guys, I have an Em1 with a stock b16 and im going h2b. I finally got the kit after waiting for almost 4 months!! (Im going QSD by the way). Now this is m 1st swap ever, and yes im going to attempt on doing it myself.
My motor is an h23a vtec blue top.

Here are some pictures

h23a vtec

QSD kit that I waited for so long..

Hondata s300 ready...

I have prep the motor as in changed the timing belt (went thru hell with that cause im a newb remember? ) ;changed to manual tensioner (that was kinda easy) ; Changed water pump and all the belts ; got the alternator kit and d series pulley ; Now i also got the skunk2 IM and I freaked out. Why? cause i do not know what goes where and stuff (hope you guys can shine some lights for me.) Pics

For example, the H23a vtec comes with this weird vavle... that doesnt look like my b16...

Also, the h23a vtec is an OBD2 motor right? Then how come it doesnt have crank position sensor or the TDC sensor?

This will be updated daily because tomorrow I will start dropping the motor and working on this project. Please feel free to help me and give me advise. If i missed some things that have been covered IM SORRY!

More to come. thanks

By the way, what did you guys do about the power steering rack? I heard if i pluck it up, it might lock up on me...

Also, I notice the plug for the distributor on my b16 is different than the plug on the h23v.. what am i supposed to do about that? I read the stickied on h22 wiring on this section already but nothing was mention about the Si harness.. thanks

the valve on the left you dont need(EGR valve) for smog purposes. the one one the right goes behind your intake manifold(IACV) it looks like you have an obd-1 distributor/engine. there's a wiring diagram of how to convert your harness plug from obd-2 to obd-1.

Now why is that? isnt the h23a vtec only comes in obd2? cause its 97+ only? Also, that valve doesnt fit the skunk2 IM .. should i get one off of a usdm prelude?

As for the distributor can I just get one off the usdm 97+ lude? will it plug right up? thanks

OO damn really? Change to which reservoir? I was going upgrade the booster and MC to 00 GSR ... which other reservoir will fit? Which car did you swap the h2b to?

This is waht your stock reservoir looks like right?

try using your stock em1 brake fluid reservoir when you drop the engine in, it may have enought clearance, mine was the round one and didnt clear it by just a little.

Can I use the stock injectors and fuel rail from the h23a or do I have to get it form another year? or motor? can someone link me to a site/link/thread that shows me how to repin/modify/or do whatever to make my b16 harness work with the motor? I did look and read thru the stickied thread but most of the info is about OBD1 harness or EX harness or EG harness or 98 ek harness only. Sorrie if i sound newb because I am. I jsut really want to finish off this swap asap... but theres just so many problems and questions im running into. I have searched b ut most people on here are doing h2b into eg, ef, 98 ek. No1 really did an h23a blue top into an EM1 soo i just couldnt get enuff info for my swap... Thank you very much for your helps.

Ok here are some pictures and updates of my swap...

Out with the old

i took this weird looking fat sensor off of my b16 Im and put it on the skunk2 h23.. it seems to fit.. can someone confirm it will work?

Can someone tell me what all these holes are for?

Also what is this sensor here? How come my b16 harness doesnt have a plug for this?

Ok heres my biggest problem... the distributor plug and the b16 harness doesnt fit at all...

BUT this plug off of a 99 civic harness seems to fit...

**** it FITS!.... but..

If you notice...there are only 7 wires off the 99 civic plug but there are 8 wires off the h23a plug.... what now..?

Thank you.
