Default H23A EG hybrid...FINALLY!!!!!

Well this Saturday I finally got my JDM H23A DOHC VTEC to run in my EG. It's not completely tuned yet, but it HAULS ***! I'll be posting some dyno charts soon. It'll hopefully put down 185-190 HP to the wheels!

with good driving skills and a 1.7-1.8 60'....i'm sure you'll be in the high 12's if your car is as light as a cx hatch with driver. I havent weighed mine in yet but mine's a cx hatch with 187whp and 153trq with stock cx suspension and i run 13.2@102mph.

Damn...those are some good times! I can't believe how hard this car pulls. I was so used to driving my old SOHC EX! My car is completely gutted except for the front two seats. I'm just glad that my motor is basically all stock, and the car pulls so hard. The reliability is pretty nice.

I still need to work out a few issues with the car though. I need to install a tach (right now I have to go by the VAFC), there is a check engine light on for one of the cylinder position sensors, and the idle randomly fluctuates from about 900-1300 RPM's.

I'm going to route some coolant lines through the IACV because I haven't done that yet. Also, I'll be switching to Mobile 1 5W-30 synthetic this weekend.

Also, I'll have some pictures of my car up soon. It's pretty nice to see a rare-*** motor in a Civic

I was under the impression that they redlined at 6800 RPM's, but the damn thing was still making power up until 7200 RPM's...oh well

On a funnier note, I work with a guy who loves Mustangs and hates imports. He was always talking **** about my car, but now that he has driven it he won't even race me. I can't believe that this is my car
