H23 / H22 Swap
Hey guys this is my first thread so dont destroy me on this. I know there is probally a write up somewhere on this but i have looked all over and found nothing but . I have come across a h23 longblock a h22 longblock and a h22 complete head. Now i understand yes they bolt up and the basics I helped my buddy with his LSV and i know he will help me, so the vtec conversion isnt the problem. What i was wondering is it is a good combo, or should i just go with the H22. Tranny wise its H series for now but i do want a h2b set up but longer down the road. Im not looking to do auto X or F/I of any kind just a good set up with good tq and power. So if this write up has been done show me a link or help me out some.

i never had good results with the H22 head on the H23 block. the H22 complete motor ran better.... what you could do is put that h23 crank in the h22 block.. ala stroker motor.... its been done many times and produces great power. and that is on here ALL over the place!! search for archived "H23 crank".
good luck!!

H22 block- and use the h23 crank and rods , h22 head. IMO thats the way to do it.
There is an h23/22 vtec thread in the prelude forum . just click the link at the top. thats where i get most of my h22 info...
If you get stuck let me know- im in mt. laurel...
