hey im using the hcp mounts for a 97 ek civic. i have some prodrive integra axels and was woundering if i could still use the prelude intermediate shafts instead of the accord if possible? Is so , which inner and outer joints do i need to use if i want to run the prelude shaft?

Use 90-97 Accord intermediate shaft, 1st gen Integra axles...............That's it. No hybriding axles or anything.

What HP can 1st gen teggy axels handle? After what HP is it a good idea to go with aftermarket axels?

I managed to fit inner prelude joints on teg axles fine with teg outers .. perfect fit .. and using prelude inner.. but have yet tried to bolt it in.. swap not done yet ... so depends on axel width when installed.

anybody else try it and ran with it ?

yeah i did that same axle setup. it worked for about a three weeks. first time at the track the driver side died. next week it was the pasanger side.... that was after i had gone through a set of place racing axles. (place racing customer service ) i did the hybird axle twice. after they broke AGAIN, i called frank at driveshaftshop.com no problems yet. 5 months and going strong!!

how much is your car lowered ?

is the accord jackshaft different in lenght than the prelude one or is it just because of the end.. (female and not male) ??

2nd gear and bang no more..... my car is only lowered about 1 3/4" w/ground controlls. (wheel gap about an inch on 16")

how much did u pay for your set of axles from driveshaft shop?? I am currently doing the h22 into my 94 integra and i was looking into getting the axles from driveshaft shop. thanks...
