H22a Swap Shifter Cable Q's
Did a search and still came up with confusion
Just to want to make sure/clear things up:
I'm about to use shifter cables and shifter base from a 2000 prelude - will this setup be ok on a 92 Civic Hatch using HCP mounts?
PS: for all you prelude guys - just saw on summitracing.com - they have STR Fuel Rails for Preludes on clearence for like $77

Yeah it should work.
As far as I know the only difference is that the shifter base is made out of plastic, and will usually run you a little more than the older metal bases.

cant see the pic right now - think maybe cuz some things are firewalled at my work? hmmm ill let u know when im @ my home computer
just to describe - its all plastic, off white color - really bulky looking compared to the older prelude units.
the cables should be no problem right?

Yeah that's it.
The only problem you might have is that it might not fit under the stock console if you've got an EG.
It fits easier under EK's because they've got a higher console.
