H22a into 98 Civic hatch build need HELP (no start)
Ok so I started my h22a swap into my civic about 3 months ago I just finally finished it today not because im lazy cause I didnt have all the parts and money at the time and I didnt want to cheap out on anything at all. so here it is
specs
h22a
h23 trans
act stage3 clutch
fidanza flywheel
shift linkage shifter
hasport stage 1 axles
hasport motor mounts
f22a1 resistor box
p28 ecu w/ h22 map/ 2 step launch control
custom harnest
different throtle body not sure from where but im guessing this might be the problem does not look like my old one but fits. i was told it was from a h22.
Ok so I did everything right i think and when i go to crank it it doesnt run right it barely wants to start and when it does it sounds real ruff like its not burning fuel or not sparking right. It is a big problem now that i ran out of ideas on what it could be im going to record a video and post it up if anyone can help I will appreaciate it a lot.
Donor car 92 civic vx hatch
when we pulled the motor
when we install the motor
I will post a video and more pics of some misc. wires i dont have no clue where they go.

make sure if you messed with ur timing belt that you lined up the cams the right way. if you have one came 180degrees off itll run like that. thats the only thing i can think of take your time making sure everything was put together properly

i think if it bolted up thanit shouldn't matter what maters is all the wiring is done properly and everything is plugged in. check all sensors a cheap fix is try new spark plugs, or go to the junk yard and pick up sensors like your tps. since you didn't mess with any of the engine its gotta be a wiring problem

I would also check the tps- make sure all the pins in the connector and sensor are ok.
other than that - check all wiring, sensors plugged in, spark plugs, wires, correct firing order on plug wires, the basics

that's a common issue, i would say to swap them around and see what comes of it.
Also, did you change the dizzy cap/wires/plus/and rotor? if so i would say be sure to get the motor to TDC and fix the firing order. This was an issue with a swap i just completed. GL
