Re: h22a into 93 hatch (BlueIntegraBoy)
I'm putting a H22 in my hatch!
lowkeys93hb is right though, the support for the H isn't quite (or nearly) as high as it is for the B.

After reading this post i looked up people who did this swap, looks great but i don't like how the hood is not lined up with the fender, but i think i want to do it now regardless.

Re: h22a into 93 hatch (Bondeedo)
Because people always follow the mainstream ( b series ) The swap may end up costing a little more , but you will have a stronger setup off the bat. Dont let people tell you that the parts arent out there for the h series , cuz more and more people are making the crossover since the long blocks/tranny are cheap . Three years ago when I went h22 people always told me that the h was way too heavy , and now we know that the difference is only like 75 lbs.

the hood and fender lining up is NOT effected by swapping. probably just the car. i got an h22 in mine, 2.5 years now. love every minute i've had it.

Re: h22a into 93 hatch (lowkeys93hb)
Thank you for the input. I think im going to go ahead and do the h22. There is a package deal for 2700.00 and it comes with everything except for the 94 gsr wiring harness i think. I am going to try and do this myself so I hope its not to complicated.lol Does anyone know someone who has done this swap that might have some tips to make it easier? T hanks again

No the b tranny doesnt just bolt up to a h22, thats why theres the h2b kit, its basically an adpater plate which allows u to bolt up a bseries tranny.
