hey i just bought this del sol with a h22a swap the driver side axle was shot so i took it off and whent to a axle shop and had them replace it, at this pont the lady told me it was a integra axle so cool they did look the same. i have a prelude intermidiet male shaft so i slap it on looks good drop it and take off. when i start to roll i start to hear this tumping noise, just tump, tump tump. the faster i go the louder and more rapid the tump gets its just shaking the crap out of the whole car, eany how i get back home lift the car and see this axles is shaking the tire funny, like when it turns it loks up so it picks up the tire and thus makes that tump noice, so im guessing bad axle or maby wrong axle, i dnt kno the axle is off a 96 integra with abs. so beats me what do u guys think could it need the prelude internals?? i really dont kno, pleas help thanks

is the car lowered at all or is it stock ride height?

its on tokico blues and coil overs but its at stock height

hmmmm, ok because when i dropped a h22 in a sol it was slammed and it was doing what yours is doing and we eventually had to bring it to stock ride height in order to help the problem and since then its been running and driving great. but id check ur axles i would probably get hasport axles made for that application i never herd of using integra axles correct me if im wrong

well the car came like that and it ran fine, but just had that axle poping noise so i replaced it and now i have this problem..

Umm i'm pretty sure you'll have to either use premade axles from hasport(http://hasport.com/store/index.php/h-ax.html) or driveshaft shop custom axles. You could make your own using a b series axle with prelude inners.

If you still have your old axel measure it and the replacement because some axel companies don't make then right to factory spec so your replacement might be too short and making noise

guess what you guys i found the problem, i went back to the axle shop today and i told them my problem with the axle they gave me so they brought out my old axle and this was the deal it had integra iner joint with integra shaft but the outer joint was off a 92 and up honda civic so it was a mix of both, the civics is a bit wider than the integras and thats why it was loose and had the shaking vibe, i do know the passenger side axle needs the prelude internals but the driver side is a mix of prelude intermediate shaft connected to integra joint and integra shaft to a civic joint witch bolts on to the tire, yeah i know weird but i had them rebuilt it and it worked just fine problem solved, thank you all for your help and interest in my problem, hopefully this helps others later on that come across the same problem (:
