You can't just stick it to the stock SC.
Some you can, some you can't...I dunno what the difference is, but on mine, I couldn't do that, whereas I know for a fact others have.
I had to get a custom line to get mine done.

I had to remove the extra fitting thing on the tranny to get mine to fit.. I donno what it was, but I just dropped the clutch line into the slave cyl. and it works fine. You can just remove that extra fitting on the tranny and go right to the slave cyl. I didn't even have to re-bend the line.

Correct. Most of the time, you just put the Prelude/Accord slave cylinder onto the Civic clutch line and that's that. But if you have clearance problems with the fan shroud (the Prelude/Accord slave cylinder sticks out at a 90 degree angle, the Civic at a 30 degree angle giving more room), then you can take your stock Civic slave cylinder, drill out one of the mounting holes and expand it 1/4" and it'll bolt onto the H-series/F-series transmission and work just fine (that's what I had to do when my Prelude slave cylinder went out on me.... Civic slave still worked fine, even under hard racing/driving). With the Civic slave cylinder in there, you'll have more room with your "slim" radiator fan.
