Default H22a Civic w/ A/C? lets cut the BS

Ok guys I have searched, and have yet to hear anyone who is running a/c in a H22 swapped civic.

1. I dont want any bullshit posts about how ur brothers, cousins, bestfriends, homolover did it in a 2nd gen F-150 and therefore it must work.

2. I would like the guys to answer whom work with this stuff everyday (i.e. the guy that works for hasport or HCP)

3. The reason I like the H22 is because I currently own a 95 civic hb w/ a b18b and I love the all stock motor, lets just say honda is the bomb when they desgined the engine. If you guys have any pics that would be great.

4. I beleive the 5th gen chassis is to small so if i have to sell it for a 6th gen then so be it.

Thanks for the answers in advance, and if any of the above statements offened, then tough.

Hey buddy, since the civic and Integra chasis is the same, I have A/C in my swap. Check it out, and notice the A/C lines, so YES, it can be done!:

dcm12...it was free because my friend was cool with this A/C place, but it shouldn't be more then $40 at the most.

show stopper but how did you get the ac compressor to fit? Did you use the civic compressor? which belt did you use? and what mounting ac bracket?

So showstopper....how did you get the compressor to fit in without the pulley rubbing up against the frame rail? Did you just notch the frame or what? Its getting really hot here in FL and I need a/c in my car...

I used the H22 prelude compressor, as well as the prelude mounting bracket. To make the compressor fit, part of the frame had to be cut so it could have clearance... It's nothing noticable if you do a clean job.
