Default H22A Civic Tach and MPH question

How much is the civic rpm tach off by? I know my fuel cut is at 7600 but when i was doing a burn out at the track, it was up between 8000-8500rpm and no cutoff....I have Hondata and its set to cut off at 7600rpm.

slicks are 22x8x15 and 60' are 1.7-1.8

When we took my friend EG (with EX cluster) to the dyno, the tach was off by like ~400 RPM (it was reading higher then the engine was actually turning). Give or take a few rpms.

When Darkknight[dmd] went to the track, he ran his best time and MPH shifting at 7700 (on stock tach). You really only have pistons on him (your intake/exhaust track is almost the same).

I make the car run consistent, then **** with the settings. You will see what works best for you.

BTW, You have new H22a EG in your area, so watch yourself

I run AN-r and like the power they make, but the build is ok. I tried to install a imgine eng. header, but we had clearance issues. I think is was just a bad one, Going to see what they have to say about it.

Darkknight has a EK EX, his weight is 2710-2770 with driver, needless to say, his car is not light.

good times on a heavy *** car! your AN-R header give you enough air flow on topend? mine feels like its out of breath....i mean it takes forever to hit redline in 4th.

Yeah, weighed 2710 after all the runs (with driver). The fastest run, I shifted early in first gear (14.1 @97.66), so, I may have hit a low low 14 or maybe 13s. I am sure it would have hit mid 98 or so. That would make it well into the 200WHP range.

It does not ran out of stream, I have it on two H22a (civic) and they are very rev happy. One has balance shafts on, the other car does not.
