H22a in a 92 cx
I am planning on dropping a H22a into my 92 cx--I've contacted HASPORT for a custom wiring---they quoted my $299 plus shipping and also requires me to ship both of my wiring cores--from the cx and the prelude. I thought this was pricey unless this is what it goes for. Has anyone have ordered a wiring harness from them and how was the quality of product?
I have HCP mounts
92 accord intermediate shaft
93 integ axles
92 prelude si shifter assembly
and in need of wiring harness or convert what i have but lacking of knowledge in this area.
I'm going to be doing my own swap with the help of friends but I want the downtime of my car as short as possible.
Please assist me if you know about this swap or if you have any suggestions.
Thanks

get a civic EX wiring harness it plugs right in your car and all you have to do is make some of the sensor wire longer ie- altenator, and a few others- thats what i did- dont waste your time on the place wiring kit when you can do it yourself
also i dont think the 92 accord 1/2 shaft will work i think you need a 90-91 but i could be wrong

Hey wassup don't waste your money paying someone else to do your wiring harness, its acutually pretty easy but i would suggest get a helms manuls for both motors but mainly your going to be lengthinging wires like the atelrnator, oil sedning unit , fuel injectors plugs also need to be converted to the h22 motor and addings extra wires for your resistor pack, u'll be adding 3 vtec wires, a knock sensor i didnt do egr in my swap becuase i had a jdm ecu but thats more wires too there a few more once u start ull see, but i mean its not that hard ahah good luck o yea by the way i have a 95 motor in my 98 hatchback

Re: H22a in a 92 cx (M1kevtec)
also your axle setup is right there is two axles setups
Accord intermediate with 90-93 teg axles
or Prelude intermediate and 94 up teg passenger side axle and 87-89 teg driver side this setup is stronger but harder to find im using this one
also i suggest u use a 94 del sol vtec radiator jux call up some aftermarket radiator company in your area and rember to ask for double row its thicker for more cooling u'll need it
