h22 vetc eg check me out yo!
ok so i was at the track the other day and i have a non-lsd h22 with h23 tranny. i was just tryin to get an idea of what all you eg h22 guys are launching at. tryin to get my 60' s down. my best was a 2.2
also my mph droped like 2-3 mph with the longer gears (h23 tranny) i was averaging 101-99 in the 1/4 mile last summer. so if any1 has a link to a related topic or can help me out that would be great!
on yea dont really have the funds for a lsd yet...so thats out of the question for a bit...and i dont think i wanna go wit obx's lsd..
best time this summer 14.1 @97mph....last summer 14.0 @100mph
Mods: -nology wires
-advanced timing on dis. over 30 degrees
-crap dc header
-high flow cat
-nitto nt555r drag radials

How much does your car weigh?
30 degrees advanced? Whew. I'm surprised your car is running efficiently.
I wouldn't advance more then 5 degrees BTDC (which would be 21°), unless you are TUNED for that.

yeah.
And throw those wires in the trash can and pickup some stock NGK's.
I launch at 6800 on slicks.

Re: h22 vetc eg check me out yo! (skunked)
yea i run 93 octane all the time on the car. i kicked the timing up this summer, and bought a air/fuel gauge that is going in soon.
im not sure what the car weighs its a stock cx hatch 95 and also this summer i stripped the back seats out to get at that damn rust.
thanks for the advice..i think ill drop the timing back
