Re: H22 timing belt slideee!
It is hard to tell from those pics, but here's how we do it.
We've always run 2 timing belt guide plates (Part #13622-PT2-010/), one behind and infront of the timing belt drive gear. If not you chance the belt riding up and off onto the crank pulley. It will also wear the edge of your belt, as it appears in your pics.
The one in front of the drive gear, behind the crank pulley will have to be slotted for the key.

Re: H22 timing belt slideee!
i found what the problem is. honda doesnt come with that washer bc the balance shaft pully serves as a washer. but in taking it out you take the washer out thus it slides. so a washer like the b series one will work fine...
every is sayn they use a b series or simple washer but no one mention it in the FAQ's i think it should b put in

I took it out and i didnt like that it had some play on the pulley so I put it back in.
That doesnt make sense. I am running the balance shaft pulley, why do i need a washer? My friend is running his car without having to put a spacer behind the crankshaft for a few years now.
Im having trouble with timing now, and getting the timing belt on, might go buy an f20b timing belt ( i guess thats from some accord ) because it has an extra tooth.
i wish somebody had a clearcut answer on this.
I did have one thought. My manual tensioner might not have been in its guide.

Re: H22 timing belt slideee!
all depends on people setups. different reason can b cuasing the slide. but on mine and other that we took the balance shaft pully out. the slide was bc the pully wasnt there holding the belt back.. mine stop slidding with the washer
remeber different thing can have same problem as a result.

Re: H22 timing belt slideee!
did you get that washer then?
I just ordered 2 PLATE, TIMING BELT GUIDE ( Part #13622-PT2-010 )
Going to go get a f20 timing belt maybe from a 94-97 accord? Supposedly 156teeth vs 155 of the h22 ill bring mine and compare it
Is there anyone else besides 2 people that have had this problem ? Ive been working on researching this on and off and its getting frustrating that there is no concrete answer.
I got everything set up as if i was running the balance shafts, but i'm just not running the belt

I'm probably just going to try to remove the bracket to the left of the red circle in my image earlier and see what it looks like.
Again, where does the b series washer go? In between the very bottom gear ( oil pump ) ?
