Default h22 swap...speed govenor bypass??

I am having my h22 put in at the shop RIGHT NOW and something caught my eye. I am seeing posts about a speed govenor on h22 at 117, is this correct?? Is there anyway to bypass it?? I have owned a 94 h23 a few years ago and it ran to 132 on empty highway before cut off. TRUST ME, and I got the ticket and time served to prove it. Red/Blue at that speed youre going to jail, no questions asked.

PS I am interested because I take her circle track sometimes....no cops.
