H22 shifter cables?

okay i have a 96 civic hatch back putting a H22a in, wondering if i have to cut the prelude cables to make it fit right?

no you cut a hole in the bottom of the car ,DO NOT CUT THE CABLES!!!

Please do not cut the cables you will very much regret it. You will need to make some modifications to your interior floor board to make the cables work. Hey I see your located in GI. Im from Lincoln and do almost all the Honda swaps in town so if you need any help or advice hit me up.
