H22 into 92 CX HATCH need help with swap.
I need some help with this swap. I thought I had to get a new TPS sensor and MAP sensor off another H22 or H23. Then someone told me I could use the stock CX,
is this correct? I could really use any info. anyone has on this swap. I'm doing this myself and I don't wanna f@#k up.

The MAP sensor will work, the TPS, not quite sure. Check the two- see if they look the same/same # of wire outputs?

Cool, I'll check that out. What kind of things did you guys have to modify or change when you did your swaps. If you did them yourselves that is. Since I'm doing this swap myself I try to research about these things but haven't had any luck so far. I don't want to go and waste any more money then what's needed. Anything else you guys can give me would be great.

NP I did do my own swap, but mine's an EK, so I couldn't really tell ya in depth with the EG chassis.. Check around though. Lots of 'em here.

So how did you use your old TPS and MAP? Tell me exactly because I'm gonna do it if I understand how. Thanks

MAp from an H22 was mounted on the firewall. All you have to do is take stock cx map and pick a spot, mount it, run plug and vacuum line to it. As far as TPS goes, the tps we used on m bosses swap was from 93 Si, or d16, and needed no adjustment when put on. It should match, and be ok.

Cool I'll try that and believe it or not I took another look at my motor and the TPS wasn't broken. If there wont be any problems then I'll try it. Do you know of anything else I might have to swap or look out for?

All honda tps and maps are the same. I used my existing cx maps and tps sensors on my h22 swap into my eg and they work fine. make sure they work though, if you dont know you'll find out when you get a CEL.

Poison, I have used a 89 TPS (1st gen B16) on a P30 with no CEL. I do not know what it is worth, but that is my input.
