H22 into a 00 ex coupe
K well this is the swap I want. I have already searched so pls dont send me off to the search button again. Right now I plan on using a HCP mounts with the front brace for the ek. I was told to use 90-93 axles and a accord intermediate shaft. What else am i going to need to complete this swap. Engine is coming with the ecu but do i need a new wire harness. Pls help me out if i forgot anything.

yes you can use 90-93 teg axles and accord intermediate shaft.
you will need the p13 (prelude) ecu. and you will not need a new wiring harness as you can adapt your EX harness to the H22.
You will just need to extend alternator cables, wire up a resistor pack, and wire up knock sensor to D3. You already have 4 wire o2 sensor and will just need to switch to the prelude type. VTEC wires are already there.
Only things you will need to add to the harness is EGR, IAB (secondary butterflies) and knock sensor.
EGR and IAB's are optional. I don't know anyone who has actually wired up the IAB's and EGR. EGR being a pain in the ***, and not benefitting the swap but only throwing a random code 12. And IAB's are just a nightmare.
Knock sensor is required, however. and that can be wired to D3 at the ECU harness.
If you are switching OBD's, you will need to do some research on converting to OBD1, or purchase the jumper harness.
As for mounts, with the HCP kit, I am not sure on the EK, but you might need the USDM prelude rear mount (which is gay, but what the hell).

Bring an old thread back to life :
I'm doing the swap in a 97 dx coupe with Teg upgraded front brakes
I just wanted to know in specific which accord intermediate shaft you would need ?
Will I stay use 90-93 teg axles ? ADS or Non ABS ?
Let me know.
Good Day,
RH.

non-ABs or ABS, it does not matter. You will only have to get ABS axles if you actually have ABS on your car. 90-93 MT accord mid-shaft.
JDM ITR front brakes or just normal teg?

Not that it's good to assume, but probably regular teg brakes.

Wrong on EX's. Not DX's, CX's, etc. That was said FEB of '03. Go grease it up some more buddy.

Yes, they will be fine.
90-93 accord mid shaft.
