h22 HCP AC bracket. Got a few Questions...
How does the AC belt for this get adjusted?
Does it have an pulley like the stock setup?
I was just thinking about this yesterday, and last I saw the mount, I didn't see anything like that to adjust the tension on it.
Do I use my stock one, or is the tensioner eliminated all together?
Pics would be appreciated!

have fun, im sending mine back beacause i didnt line up with my compressor, newman is taking care of me
but on another note i dont even se how it is gonna fit in there with the altenator and stuff, looks like a damn big project- harder than the swap itself

The H22A AC tensioner is the alternator. There's no tensioner for the AC. The tension is held by the alternator. Use a 90-91 Accord AC/alternator belt and it'll fit. On the 92-95 Civics, it fits but is very tight... might take some work to make it fit, but it fits (I've seen 2 already).
The reason why the AC bracket didn't work for H22a-CX is because on some CX/VX models, the compressor was different from all of the rest of the 92+ Civic compressors.... don't know what Honda had in mind but if you get a DX/EX/Si from an EG or any 96+ AC compressor, those will all work for sure, as well as some CX/VX compressors from an EG, but just an FYI, there were some that were different only for some VX/CX EG models, and one some base-model Civics... weird.

CX's never came with A/C, right? Maybe the problem may be that it was a dealer installed option, so that may account for the difference in compressors? Just a thought....

Re: h22 HCP AC bracket. Got a few Questions... (H22a-CX)
I got the HCP A/C braket, and used the 90-91 accord Belt, and fit my A/c back in...and moved my fan to the front of the Condenser. The problem lies in buying a new fan (because your old one wont work well enough at low speeds). Also the accord belt was too long, and I went to the autoparts store to try and find a belt that would fit but all were either too long or too short....no idea why. I had to basically ghetto rig the braket to tension the belt enough.
But all I can say is that the A/C works better than it did before, and I am Happy!

Did you get a slim line fan for it?, and did you still have to put it in front of the condensor?
I'll see if I can maybe post some picks

the lines themselves get in the way? which ones? the ones in the engine bay or the ones in front of the condensor behind the bumper?
What do I do about that?
I'm going to go ahead and get the same Hayden Slim fan I'm gonna use for the radiator..... #3680...
Should I go ahead and mount it as a pusher style?
