Default H22 guys need help here

Hi, so my buddy had a h22a4 in his 4dr 97 civic. he went out and bought a jdm obd2 H22 to swap in. the thing is that he told me that in that jdm engine the dizzy plugs are different and the crank sensor is in the dizzy on the obd2 jmd engine... on the h22a4 its on near the oil pump right!! so he doesn't know what he can do!! lol

Any help from anybody would be great !!!

Thanks

that is not true. there is no way the crank sensor could be in the distributer. that would be considered the cam sensor i guess. im not sure if the jdm obd2 h series motors have provisions for a crank sensor. anyways what are the reasons he wants the crank sensor still?

fyi they do have a crank sensor in the dizzy

96 and up have another crank sensor on the oil pump you can bypass it if you want ff-squad.com/technet/ckftrick.htm and if you put a obd0-1 motor in a 96+ car you have to bypass it
