Default h22 with f23 trans ?

if i put in an h22 in my 6th gen accord but keep the f23 manual transmission do i still use shifter cables?

come on pineapples. i know someone knows the awnser to this question. and why do people frown on the shifter cables so much. do they really suck that bad. i want to pull around 350 to 400hp out of my car. i know it will be expensive but ive done a **** load of work on my car already and hay, i like my car which is PAID for. so i want to make it illmatic straight stupid fast. i hate getting smoked by mustangs and my last car was a 93' saleen. shouls i do and 0db1 or 2 swap to achieve these #'s. and what is the deal with the immobolizers. help a nooby out honda gurus.
