I have the same exact problem. Mine idle fluctuates pretty badly. Funny thing is, I don't throw any IAC codes. Do you?
I read a howto that explained using a 2 pin AIC and making an adapter plate for it to work. Makes sense, but does anyone know if there is any other way to do this?
Please help!

Your three wire IACV should have these three colors: Blk/Blu, Yel/Blk, and black. Now, the solid black wire is a ground. OBD1 does not use that. The Yel/Blk is a sensor voltage. You can tap into any Yel/Blk or Blk/Yel (most of the times). I will get you the right diagram for that tommorrow. Now, the Blk/Blu goes to A3.
I hope that helps, If you have any questions, just ask.
EDIT: I have not done this. It is how it would work if it will.

check the T.P.S sensor on the T.B many times this gets dinged on the swap out of the donor car in japan. There are a few ways i know to fix.....honda way buy brand new T.B or hack in a used TSP and its done
hope that helps the idle

Ok, I understand the Euro R accepts a three wire IACV?
What model EK is this?
With the P28 ECU, it accepts a two wire IACV which one of the wires goes to A9 (assuming you are using a jumper harness), and the other is the Yel/Blk junction harness (leading to A25) pinout.
How many pins are on the Euro R IACV? Please verify..
