H22 ek civic wiring
I've been looking into swapping an OBD1 JDM h22 In an EK
hatch and it seams it's easiest to use the civic harness with a
conversion harness. But in doing this how do you hook up the
injector resistor.

Re: H22 ek civic wiring (Jago)
Did a search. Did lots of searches actually. found lots of stuff that almost
ansered the question but nothing solid.

This swap is definitely possible, using your EK harness and adapting to the H22 engine. You`ll also need to convert to OBD1 unless you want to get OBD2 parts for the OBD2 ECU to look for, otherwise you will throw the CEL.
What year EK is it?
You will need to convert the EK distributor plug to the OBD1 type, or you can also use the OBD2 plug and cut off the OBD1 plugs on the distributor to match up.
Here is a diagram for the color matching:
Keep us posted.

Poison, If I may added, There is a difference in the guage wires between the dark blue wire and the light blue (dark blue is thicker, but not by much) and the dark blue and black/yellow are in different "group" together on the OBD2 dizzy and on the OBD1, they are on a totally different plug.
EDIT: damn, I need a digital camera

Yep, very true. But others do not notice that, and they just like knowing the colors to match up. They are seperate pins on the OBD2 dizzy (dark blue and blk/yel), and on the OBD1 it's a totally different plug. But colors are colors ya know heh.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I thought if I throw the info out there, maybe it will help someone.

Yea I was gonna use the EK harnes with a obd1 conversion harness.
but OBD1 h22a's have an resistor box for the fuel injectors. so how
do you wire that in to the EK harness.
