It fits, but just barely, do a search, I believe the first released pics of it, it was mounted in a civic.

Does anyone know how to take the IAB secondary butterflys out of a stock h22 manifold or have a write up on it?

This has the IM in a civic with HCP mounts.

The skunk2 manifold really worth putting on your car. You are better off using a stock manifold or a euro R manifold. There are dyno chart to prove it. Just my .02 cents

the reason i am getting the mainfold is the people at rywire(which i am ordering) said with the stuff i'm getting (chipped ecu, and harness) i need to.
1. take the IAB's out of the stock manifold or just buy a skunk manifold but i am going to try and take the IAB's out. And then down the road i'll take the motor out and put the hasport mounts and get the manifold(or maybe just get ITB's

anybody know about the IAB's?

if you see that clearence you can see that it must have been put on off the car.
my manifold may MAY come off, but if it even does there is no way in HELL that i could get it on there, without taking the motor out, which then i would just change the mounts as well. (the only reason i dont have pasport mounts is they did not make them when i started this project

the manifold in the civic with HCP mounts is my car. i installed it with the engine in car and it did not quite fit, it would take a little massaging of the firewall or relocation of the proportioning valve to fit and still allow the use of hte idle air control valve.

Take out the rear mount or and you might be able to use an engine crane to rotate it far enough forward to get it on. If it will fit after that, I don't know.

you would think the people at rywire would know that if you don't hook up the iab's, they will be open all the time. it hurts low end power a little, but top end is unaffected.

its tight but it fits, i put that in my hatch within a week of the manifold coming out. i decided not to keep it in there since I wanted my idle air controller to be working. a hammer could make it work though.
