Default H22 EG Revs Crazy

Hi, I recently replaced the H22 engine in my 93 EG hatch with another H22 after the piston rings fried.
The engine came from a working jdm Prelude 2.2 vtec.
We had trouble getting it to fire up initially but it turned out to be the distributor.
But now we've hit a whole new problem....

When you start the engine, it idles ok and everything sounds like it should but as soon as
you put your foot on the accelerator, it starts reving up and down on its own. Making it undrivable.
If you let your foot off, it goes back to idling ok so that rules out the idle control valve??
Its almost as if the engines trying to cut out.

Please help, even my local shop can't fix it!

A new TPS would be a good idea or make sure your map and TPS plugs are not backwards... If you are using a p13 ecu, then you could have the EGR,TPS,Map plugs all mix matched...

Thanks noremorseracing!! You're the best! That TPS sensor did it. Pulled one from a D16Z3 I found in my local scrap yard.
