Default H22 EG DEAD

Went to the store last night and everything was fine. Come out, try to start her up and nothing. It cranks fine but its not getting any spark. I already replaced the distributer button and was going to replace the cap but I couldn't find anyone who had an internal coil cap. Anyone have any other suggestions what it might be while I try to track down a cap??

Thanks

PS already checked for fuel. Its getting that.

A 92-95 Civic cap is internal coil and will work fine if you're still trying to find one. It's definitely in the distributer if you're not getting spark. Or it could have jumped time I guess too. If it's off on timing, you're spark will be weak.

Thank you. I will pick one up after work today. I didn't know they both were the same size.

the ignitor or coil could have failed as well.

The coil is the next thing to get. Cap wasn't the problem. All electrical is good until the coil.

I had the same problem. It was the ignitor in my case. Good luck.
