H22 EG civic; how do I clear the stock fuel filter??
Ok, well I am just finishing up my swap, waiting for the last few parts. But I need to know how you guys are clearing the stock fuel filter and hard line!!!?? I will replace it as soon as possible but right now I am going to have to leave it stock, so how do I get my damn intake piping to clear it??? Is there any way to do it cleanly, WITHOUT "massaging" the rubber coupler to fit the intake? Lets see some pics of how you guys have done this!!!! PLEASE!

Mine for right now is just sitting there unbolted (which I don't like very much) but I plan on getting one from a 99-00 Si or getting an inline fuel filter to clean up the engine bay a little bit.

you could just take some sheet metal and make an drill holes in it to make a ghetto adapter plate. and you can bend the hard fuel lines if you are very careful.
(thats what I did)

I move the line fuel a little bit and raise the fuel filter. Redrill and you will be fine

take out the butterlies completely, just unbolt the 12mm 5 if them i think and then get shorter bolts to fit in there place, u should clear i did. Benefits a little on top end lose a little down low. whats the diff ur going to put them back in later whe you relocate

Come on guys, I gotta have this done by Sunday so is there any trick to clearing this damn fuel filter, or do I just get ghetto and bend the hard line and leave the fuel filter unbolted?
I will be getting rid of this ghetto stock fuel filter soon, but I gotta do this for now, how did all you mo'fu#*ers do it?

Sorry bout that. Haven't seen this thread in a lil while
I don't currently have pictures of it. But autozone has inline fuel filters that you can put in.
I would stick with oem like myself and obtain a 99-00 Si fuel filter.
[edit] also another thing you can do to clean up the engine bay and have it properly mounted is to relocate the battery to the back of the hatch.
$40 bucks from Summit for relocation

I just moved the fuel filter over about 2 inches, and cut the hard line, flared it and clamped a piece of fuel injection hose between it. Works great! I just finally started it last night, after battling my no oil pressure problem and it fired right up!!

Sorrry to lose focus. But has anyone used the Summit racing battery relocation kit. I am thinking of doing something similar and wanted to know what is a good brand to go with. Especially since I am running out of space to put my MSD Digital 6. And that spot looks to be purrfect!!
