h22 in an EG with AC
has anyone done this swap?
Ive been thinking about the H22 route for my EG but am wondering if anyone has done the AC also
go ahead and flame but it gets hot and HUMID in NJ
what is needed for this conversion with AC do I need the prelude AC unit or will the B series somehow work or is it a mish mosh of parts and fabrication

You have a b series in there right now? Im not sure how it works with a b series, but with the d series, all you do is buy the AC mounting bracket made by HCP and bolt your d series compressor to your h. Then you use one of these 2 belts Dayco 5050360 or Goodyear Gatorback 4040410. You can buy the bracket from http://www.jdmshit.com Newman on here can help you with that.

Re: h22 in an EG with AC (AudioFuct)
yes there is a b series is it now
the ac compressor is the original d series with the gsr bracket
might you have a picture of the setup
im curious to see how the setup sits in the engine bay

I know I've seen pics out there somewhere. Just look in the archives and you might find something. But bump for you, I'm thinking about letting go of the b series for an H. Good luck, I want my ac still.

i hated doing an H swap in a civic with AC. If youw ant to keep the d series compressor you need teh HCP ac mount. its super tight with that mount but it does fit and does work. you may also need a pusher fan for the condenser too.
to use the prelud comrpessor you will be jsut as tight but probably also need custom lines and custom mount points for teh condenser to make enough room.
