H22 in a 95 civic swap WHOLE CAR SHAKES NEED HELP!!!!
we did a swap of the 92-96 H22 in to a 95 civic,,, everything went fine the only thing that has me stumped is we have some kind of bad shake in the front end... we changed both axles, diff wheels, check the barings all kinds of ****... anyone have a suggestion as to what this could be?? im down to thinking its in the tranny and maybe the LSD went bad or something. any help would be awesome..... Thanx

LSD trannys has a larger casing; therefore, they require the use of an 89 integra shaft which is about 1.0-1.5 inches shorter. at least thats what i here.

i have DSS level 1's.
the larger tranny casing does not affect the driverside. i think you would be able to tell of your axle was binding. your set up is designed for a non-LSD H22.
this is the concept. the top one is non-LSD, and bottom is LSD. right=ds left-ps

keep in mind, in the top post he is talking about a non-LSD, this thread has some info on axle binding, which can cause shaking.
this is all just an idea though, who knows if it is even your problem.

don't be cheap and get some aftermarket axle. my other friend that has a H22 civic used checker axle and the axle take a **** like every 3 months. yes, it has liftime warranty but it will suck chaning it all the time even worse you might be 100 of miles away from home and have the axle take a **** on you. I have the hasport mount and when i hit about 30 to 40 MPH you can feel vibration.

I have 94 accord shaft with 93 teg axles. I have no binding, or vibration. How low are you? I am 1.9 in the front and 1.8 in the back.
